The special round 2 of the First Year Junior College (FYJC) started on Tuesday and Wednesday is the last day for new registrations and editing the option form for the Class 11 admissions.
The allotment list will be displayed on the official website (https://pune.11thadmission.org.in/Public/Home.aspx ) of the School Education and Sports Department on August 4 at 10 am. In the extended Special Round 1 of CAP which concluded Monday, 61,160 students confirmed admissions. The remaining number of seats is 1,23,235.
According to official data updated Tuesday evening, a total of 2,13,220 students, which is over 75 per cent of the total registered students, have taken admission to junior colleges in the Pune Municipal Corporation and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas.
Over 62 per cent of the seats in the Science stream have been filled so far followed by 54 per cent in the Commerce stream and a little over 43 per cent in the Arts stream. The number of students enrolled in English medium (2,01,642) far exceeds those who have enrolled in Marathi medium (8,448). There are 2,774 students for Urdu medium and 397 for Hindi.
