Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular and trusted leader in the world today, Union Minister for Commerce and Industries Piyush Goyal said on Wednesday. His inclusive development for empowering and transforming the lives of people through his vision has been hailed not only in India but globally, he said.
Goyal was addressing the media at BJP headquarters in Mumbai on Wednesday. “The country is fortunate and blessed to have a leader who relentlessly dedicates his life in serving people. His ability to take cold decisions and reforms have made him the most popular leader. And he is the leader who has earned through his work the trust of 140 crore people of India, ” Goyal said.
“Whether it is oppressed, backward, women, farmers or working class, Modi has catered to every segment with his development and policies. He addressed regional disparity with focus on states lagging in development. From Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal to Northeastern States, he has chalked an elaborate plan with special focus to enhance the life and livelihood of people,” Goyal said.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Goyal launched the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ campaign at Rawalpada Polyclinic (Maternity Home) in Mumbai’s Dahisar East, to promote women’s health and empowerment. The nationwide initiative was virtually inaugurated by PM Modi through video conferencing from Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar.
