In contrast to their the pre-wedding functions and the temple wedding,the Deols chose an understated look for the reception on Saturday night at The Lalit Mumbai in Andheri. With white as the theme,the venue was decorated in crystals and white roses. Esha Deol’s outfit was a pink and silver lehenga,while her businessman husband Bharat Takhtani wore a tuxedo. Hema Malini,looking elegant in an off-white sari with a flower tucked behind her ear,was accompanied by Dharmendra,and the couple received all guests personally. The evening began with eminent politicians such as Raj Thackeray,Sushma Swaraj,LK Advani and Suresh Kalmadi,arriving first. Bollywood celebrities followed. Kajol arrived with Tanuja and Tanisha,Rekha,Vidya Balan,Tabu,Sushmita Sen,Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar,Madhuri Dixit-Nene and husband Sriram Nene. Salman Khan made an appearance too.
