Man held for attempt to rape 4-year-old

Police have booked one Vimal Kumar from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony in Moti Nagar area for making an attempt to rape a four-year-old girl. As per the complaint of the girl’s father, she had gone to watch TV in the house of the accused when he tried to rape her. The girl started crying and she was given Rs 5 to go back to her parents. When the girl narrated the incident to her parents, they complained to the police and got Vimal arrested. The girl used to go to Vimal’s house to watch TV, said ASI Jaswinder Singh.
