According to the police, the 22-year-old woman, who hails from Bengaluru, booked a cab for DU around 9.30 am on Monday on the Rapido app, from Kalyan Vihar.

A police officer also said that the accused allegedly started making “inappropriate gestures”.

“The driver also allegedly touched her inappropriately and started masturbating. She spotted a women’s picket at Kranti Chowk near DU, and asked the driver to stop,” DCP Banthia said.
