Atishi said the AAP has already moved the Supreme Court against the action. "We have also urged the court for an emergency night hearing," she added.

As Enforcement Directorate (ED) took Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in its custody on Thursday, AAP leader Atishi affirmed that the Kejriwal will not resign from his post and, if needed, will run the government from jail.

Arvind Kejriwal was the Delhi CM, is the CM and will continue to remain the CM. He will not resign,” she said, adding, “Kejriwal will continue as chief minister of Delhi, to run govt from jail.”

When asked about Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) next course of action after the party supremo’s arrest, Atishi said they have already moved the Supreme Court against the action. “We have also urged the court for an emergency night hearing,” she added.

Hours before when a 12-member team of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) landed at Kejriwal’s residence, AAP alleged that it was part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) attempts to get the Delhi chief minister arrested ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
