The user can use their existing user credentials of RailConnect or UTSonMobile App to register on RailOne.
From ticketing, enquiry, PNR enquiry food on train to Rail madad services, Indian Railways have introduced a new app, RailOne, to provide a one-stop solution for all passenger services. Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday launched the app on 40th Foundation Day of Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). CRIS is the technological wing of Indian Railways and has created Rail one app, along with all the other applications that are being used for Railways services.
The app integrates services which were spread in different apps and provide it on a single platform for reserved, unreserved and platform ticket bookings, live train tracking, Grievance redressal mechanism through Rail Madad, PNR enquiry and e-catering.

Along with this, the app will show the coach position of the train at every platform, users can give feedback of the services through it and can file for refund in case of train cancellation etc. However, the freight related enquiries are not yet available in the app.
Why was RailOne app introduced?
Earlier, passengers had to use different apps for different services such as UTS for unreserved ticketing, Rail Connect for reserved tickets, Rail Madad app for grievance redressal, NTES app for train running status, an IRCTC app for food services etc.
Officials said that the unreserved and platform tickets will be available at a 3 per cent discount rate on the app. The user can use their existing user credentials of RailConnect or UTSonMobile App to register on RailOne. With this, users will not have to carry several applications for different services of IR.
“The existing app will continue working. Those apps have not been discontinued. But since these apps have been merged with RailOne, it will be better to use it to avoid additional device space and the burden of remembering several passwords,” said a senior official of the Ministry of Railways.
The facility of R-Wallet (Railway e-wallet) is also available in the app for ticket bookings. The login option through numeric mPIN and biometric has been provided. One can login as Guest through mobile number/OTP for enquiry purpose only.
