Actor Renu Desai, who divorced Pawan Kalyan in 2012, has been facing harassment from fans of the Telugu star ever since they got separated. Now, Renu yet again took to Instagram to share a statement about the never-ending harassment from her former husband’s fans.
Renu shared the screenshot of one such abusive comment from a fan of Pawan and wrote, “When I spoke about the reality of my divorce and what happened with the cheating my ex-husband’s fan’s abused me. Now, when I spoke the truth as a citizen of the country in his favour, his haters are abusing me…first I was accused of taking money to talk about divorce from the anti-people and now I am accused of taking money from the pro-people of my ex-husband…all I did is speak the truth in both situations and not a word more. I guess this is the price I will have to pay for falling in love and speaking the truth. if it’s my destiny, then so be it…please begin the abuse.”
Renu Desai recently shared a clip in which she spoke about a speculated series on Pawan Kalyan’s personal life. Renu asked everyone to stay away from the personal space of the actor. She also said not to involve the children of celebrities in such matters. On top of that, Renu also spoke about Pawan’s political journey. The actor claimed, “Whatever he did to me is 100 per cent wrong. There’s no doubt about it. But as far as I know, as a person, he has always wanted to do something good for people. He is not money-minded at all. It can be hard to understand, but I have and will support his political cause.”
Despite her favourable statements about Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai continued to face trolling from the actor’s fans, which led to the recent statement from Renu. Pawan and Renu met on the sets of the blockbuster film Badri in 2000. They again acted together in the movie Johnny in 2003. The two then married in 2009. The couple have a son and daughter.
