Nia Sharma beats Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif to become third sexiest Asian woman, see pics

The poll by Britain’s Eastern Eye placed Deepika Padukone at the top slot, followed by Priyanka Chopra in the second. We understand the placement of these Bollywood actors in the list is largely credited to their upcoming Hollywood debuts and blockbusters back home. But with Nia securing the third spot for herself is quite an achievement. The television actor had previously got the rank of number 6 and 7. The 2016 list also has Nia’s TV contemporaries Drashti Dhami at spot 4, and Sanaya Irani at spot 6. Alia Bhatt bagged the fifth rank on the list.

Nia herself shared the list on her Instagram page. Her immense surprise was evident as she captioned it as “#3rd rank!!! 🙏🙏🙏 #maniacsssssss you guys are ‘Sick’ ..!!! 😀😀like reallyyyyyy ‘Sick’.!!! Hahhahahah”

While speaking to Daily Bhaskar, Nia said “It’s crazy to call myself as the sexiest woman. I’m like wow; this is cool. Looking at the past years, I was expecting 5th or 6th position. But standing on the 3rd position was totally unexpected. I held a chat session also on Twitter with my fans on the occasion and it was totally celebration out there. I would thank all my fans for this special moment.”
