YRF’s Casting Division girl, Bhumi Pednekar, to debut in Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Director Maneesh Sharma’s first independent production venture under the Yash Raj Films banner, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, will introduce Bhumi Pednekar. The debutante, who was part of YRF’s Casting Division was spotted by Sharma when she would double as an actor to conduct auditions with prospective talent. The film which took off in Haridwar last month has Ayushmann Khurrana playing the male lead.
Dum Laga Ke Haisha is directed by debutant Sharat Katariya and revolves around the life of a small town couple, played by Khurrana and Pednekar. From overcoming his fear of the English language to dealing with an overbearing father, Khurrana discovers that his over-sized and mismatched wife, whom he thought was an impediment in his business and life, will actually lead him to something quite cool.
Currently under production, DLKH is slated for a 2014 release.
