Actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas will soon be seen in an intense action avatar in his Hindi debut film titled Chatrapathi. The film’s teaser, which was released on Thursday, shows the actor rain punches and kicks.
The teaser begins with a dialogue describing the real meaning of Chatrapathi. “Everyone is concerned for themselves, but the one who is concerned for others is called Chatrapathi.” The teaser shows Sreenivas doing some high-octane action, and landing some hard punches on the bad guys. The teaser also features some very violent scenes.
The film’s action choreography is done by Anl Arusu. Bellamkonda Sreenivas reportedly worked on building the right kind of physique for the movie and it clearly shows in the teaser.
Directed by VV Vinayak, Chatrapathi is the Hindi remake of filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s Telugu movie by the same name. The original film starred actor Prabhas in the leading role. The remake is being produced by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios.
The movie, which will release in Hindi and Telugu, also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika and Jason. It is written by Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the original as well.
Chatrapathi will hit screens on May 12.
