Bihar polls: 1,200 CAPF companies likely to be deployed

The Centre is preparing to deploy 1,200 CAPF companies for the upcoming Bihar polls, with 500 already deployed and the state government requesting for 1,800. The final number of companies will be decided after discussions with the EC and MHA, with a majority coming from the SSB. Each company has 70-80 personnel and will supplement the Bihar Police for election security.
