Increasing Trade
India and Yugoslavia expressed mutual interest in increasing the level of bilateral trade, which has fallen in the last four or five years, and finding new possibilities for economic cooperation. Cheating Railways
An entirely new modus operandi for cheating the railways has come to light following the detection of several fictitious entries in the refund register maintained by a booking clerk at Ahmedabad railway station. The fraud, which is feared to have made a heavy drain on the Western Railway exchequer, indicates that for years the different departments of the railways did not once bother to cross-check entries.
