Veteran actor Dharmendra stepped out to cast his vote during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on Monday in Mumbai. The 88-year-old actor smiled at the paparazzi as he walked towards the polling booth, however, Dharmendra lost his cool at the media while leaving. A video of the same surfaced online where the veteran actor is seen getting angry over a question posed by a mediaperson.

In the video, Dharmendra is seen saying, “Acche shehri bano, desh bhakt bano, maa baap see pyaar karo… aap ko malum hai jo mujhse kehelwana chahte hai (Be a good citizen, love your parents, you already know this… still trying to put words in my mouth).” The incident happened as Dharmendra was returning after casting his vote.

Since morning many Bollywood celebrities have been spotted at the polling booths including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, among others.

On the work front, Dharmendra made his comeback on the big screen with Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani last year. He was seen opposite Shabana Azmi and their kiss on-screen went on to become the most viral scene from the film. This year, Dharmendra was seen in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starter Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will be next seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, which also stars Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is expected to released in 2025.
