Ben & Jerry’s co-founder quits, accuses Unilever of silencing brand’s social voice
After 47 years, Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's, is leaving due to Unilever's suppression of the company's outspoken nature. He believes this is part of a larger issue of human rights being attacked in the US. Unilever denies this and plans to spin off its ice cream division, including Ben & Jerry's, by 2025.
