Amid relationship rumours with Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda says he wants to ‘get married soon, become a father’

Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna have been reportedly in a relationship for a few years now. However, neither of them have opened up about it. Recently, when Vijay was asked about his “romantic relationships”, he neither confessed nor denied that he is romantically involved with his Dear Comrade co-star. Instead, he said, “Yes, with my parents, with my brother, with you, and we all are in a relationship.”

Vijay and Rashmika have teased their fans on social media by posting photos from the same location during their holidays. They also comment on each other’s social media posts.

Vijay and Rashmika reportedly fell in love when they worked together on Geetha Govindam. They later worked together in Dear Comrade. Rashmika had previously addressed her relationship rumours and shared with News18, “I understand that we are actors and the light is on us, with people wanting to know more about it. I see what is happening on social media, like watch a few videos and find it very cute, but Vijay and I don’t really sit and discuss. We have a gang of 15 people and given a chance, we would be playing board games with them. We are actors, but for us, our friends are equally important and it keeps us grounded.”

Eariler this year, there were reports of Vijay and Rashmika preparing to get engaged, but there has been no confirmation on the development as yet.

On the work front, while Vijay is promoting Family Star, Rashmika is busy shooting Pushpa 2: The Rule with Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Sai Pallavi and Vijay Sethupathi.
