Long before SS Rajamouli made RRR a household name in the US, Telugu cinema was already making its mark in the country. For a long time, USA was an important market that continued to provide maximum returns for big-ticket Telugu films of every top-tier actor. With a strong Telugu populace in the country, it is but expected that the unique way of celebrations for Telugu films found its way in America too. Papers being thrown to usher in the entry of their matinee idol to Telugu films opening up the market for Indian cinema in hitherto untapped areas in the country, there can be no doubt that USA holds an important place in the worldwide market. Probably why, Ram Charan and team Game Changer have decided on USA for their next pre-release event.

Reported to be held in Dallas on December 21, this USA pre-release event is expected to be the first of many such events to cater to the expatriate audience. Telugu cinema is constantly pushing the boundaries of promotions, and rewriting unsaid rules to ensure a film reaches maximum audience. The recent example is definitely the success of the promotional activities of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was kickstarted in Patna. Incidentally, team Game Changer started this North Indian sojourn a week earlier than team Pushpa 2.
The teaser of Game Changer, which is directed by Shankar, was launched in an event in Lucknow, a few days before the Pushpa 2 teaser was revealed in Patna. So, it clearly shows the foresight of Telugu cinema, and even in the USA pre-release event, it is expected that the fourth single from the film would be released.
