Kamal Haasan joins Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the US as they promote Project K. See photos

Ahead of Project K's first glimpse showcase at Comic Con, Kamal Haasan joined Prabhas and Rana Daggubati at San Diego in the US.

Fans are looking forward to get an insight into Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s big outing Project K. The first glimpse would be released at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 20, while in India it will drop a day later. The Nag Ashwin directorial is a star-studded film with stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan also playing pivotal roles. Prabhas was joined by Baahubali co-star Rana Daggubati in the US ahead of the event and now a photo of Kamal Haasan has also emerged online.

The official page of Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house, shared a photo of the actor and wrote, “Good morning AmeriKa. Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan in the streets of USA.” As readers would know, the global star is fondly addressed by his fans as Ulaga Nayagan, which means ‘Universal Hero’. Haasan looked chic in his black jacket and joggers, and completed his look with a cap and a pair of casual floaters.

On Tuesday, they had also posted the photo of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati on Instagram. “The men have landed in the USA. See you in San Diego on July 20th” they wrote. In the photo, both the stars were dressed in black hoodies leaving Baahubali fans excited about the reunion. Rana Daggubati shared the same photo on Instagram and wrote, “Just hanging out in the hills.”

Rana has been a vocal admirer of Project K in the past as well. At the India Today Conclave, the actor said that this film could be the next global Telugu hit. “We celebrate each other’s cinema fully. Like there is another film called Project K which Nag Ashwin is directing with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. That’s the film we are really looking forward to in Telegu. That film will, I think will break the boundaries that both Baahubali and RRR have done. Pushing that boundary to the next edge. I am really looking forward to that film and it could really become a global film from Telegu.”

Recently, Deepika Padukone’s first look from Project K was released. “In her eyes, she carries the hope of a new world. Deepika Padukone from Project K,” Vyjayanthi Movies wrote in the caption. A sneak-peek of the film was also showcased at Times Square in New York City.

Project K is touted to be a dystopian sci-fi film and will hit cinema halls on January 12, 2024.
