Another video gives glimpses into the shoot for the finale, where big placards of the five finalists have been put up in the kitchen, and a red carpet has been rolled out. The judges, chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Farah Khan, are seen welcoming the finalists into the kitchen. All the five contestants have had quite an interesting journey on the show. While Tejasswi, Faisu, and Guarav were always seen amongst the top contenders, Nikki and Rajiv emerged to be the underdogs who have come so close to the finish line.

Tejasswi, Gaurav, and Faisu’s fans have also rallied behind them, cheering for them to win, while others have been questioning how deserving Nikki Tamboli and Rajiv Adatia are to make it to the top 5. A user commented, “Why Rajiv isse better Archana this,” and another netizen commented, “Seriously… Nikki tamboli…”. A third user wrote, “Scripted show Kabita should be here instead of Nikki or Rajiv.” One of the viewers also commented, “They just want TRP from them, they don’t care about deserving and non-deserving.”

Many commented how they wanted to see Dipika Kakar Ibrahim in that golden apron. While Dipika was a strong contender, she unfortunately had to quit the show due to a shoulder injury. So far, the contestants on the show are Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam, Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Kabita Singh, Rajiv Adatia, and Mr Faisu. Celebrity Masterchef airs on Sony TV every Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
