Hina Khan condemns Pahalgam attack, writes, ‘As a Muslim, I want to apologise to all my fellow Hindus, fellow Indians’

Pahalgam terrorist attack: Hina Khan, who was holidaying in Kashmir recently, also said that she is back and is safe. She also appealed for Indians to stay united in the face of the devastating attack.

Actor Hina Khan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in which 26 tourists were killed. The TV actor, who was born in Kashmir and recently shared photos of her visit there, expressed her outrage and sorrow at the dastardly attack. She also confirmed to her fans that she is ‘safe and back’.

Hina wrote a long note expressing her deep sorrow after the attack in Kashmir. A part of Hina’s post read, “The way this attack was conducted by heartless, inhuman, brainwashed terrorists who claim to be Muslims is beyond appalling. It breaks my heart. As a Muslim, I want to apologise to all my fellow Hindus and fellow Indians.”

“It’s not about me or my pain—it’s the pain of everyone who lost their loved ones. It’s the pain every Indian is feeling. I am praying for their strength and peace. I am praying for the souls we lost,” she added.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame actor also condemned the attack and wrote, “We must not mince words. I condemn it, I reject it, and I hate those who did it. Wholeheartedly, absolutely and unconditionally.”

She also added, “Those who did this can follow any religion. They are not human beings for me. As embarrassed I am for the act of some Muslims, I pray to my fellow Indians to not alienate all of us. All of us who call India our home and our motherland. If we end up fighting each other, we would be doing what they want us to do, to divide us, to keep us fighting, and we must not let that happen as Indians.”

She also expressed that she wants a Kashmir where Kashmiri Pandits can live peacefully with Kashmiri Muslims. She concluded the note by saying that she also wants justice. “Peace and Love 🙏🏻Jai Hind,” read Hina’s post caption.

A day after the attack too, Hina posted a heartbroken emoji on her Instagram story and asked, “PAHALGAM, WHY WHY WHY”. Hina, who was on vacation to Kashmir last week, also shared via her Instagram story, “Also to all those who were really concerned about my whereabouts, I am safe and back..”
