As Celebrity Masterchef enters its third week, contestants are in for some big surprises and challenges. While Chandan Prabhakar was evicted from the show last week, actor Tejasswi Prakash is also not doing well on the show and is at the bottom in terms of ranking. Tejasswi Prakash is seen having an emotional meltdown on the show after she faces some harsh criticism from the judges for her dishes. Now another promo hints at what might have made Tejasswi emotional.
The clip shows the judges introducing one of the most expensive mystery boxes ever brought on the show. Chef Ranveer Brar, chef Vikas Khanna, and Farah Khan announce that the mystery box is worth Rs 31 lakhs which consists of ingredients starting from Rs 11ooo and going up to Rs 6.5 lakhs. The contestants will also face a twist where they will be asked to incorporate gold in their dish. In the promo, when Tejasswi states her dish’s value is Rs 2000, Farah Khan says she wouldn’t even pay that much for the dish.

This week, Tejasswi will be seen getting emotional after getting serious feedback from the judges. While her meltdown has stirred some debate on social media, contestants will also have another surprise in store. Actress Ayesha Jhulka will be seen joining the show as a wildcard contestant from tonight. Talking about her entry on the show, the actress said in a statement, “Cooking has been a part of my life since childhood, and I’ve always found joy in experimenting with flavors. Being on Celebrity MasterChef is a completely a new challenge for me, and I’m excited to see how it unfolds!”
Ayesha has been a part of films such as Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, etc. Other contestants on the show include various TV personalities and social media influencers, namely, Dipika Kakar, Mr Faisu, Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Tejasswi Prakash, Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, and Kabita Singh. Celebrity Masterchef airs on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
