Shazahn Padamsee to play Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter in ‘Siddhartha’

Shazahn Padamsee plays a Buddhist girl in her next film, titled Siddhartha. The film is directed by debutant Mukul Mishra. She’s excited to share screen space with Mahesh Bhatt who plays her father in the film. She says, “He’s someone whom I deeply admire and respect. It’s going to be like a dream to have him as a co-actor, especially in the role of my father.”

Jackie debuts as singer

Jackie Shroff has debuted as a singer in Satish Kaushik’s next, Gang of Ghosts, whose music has been composed by the young duo — Dharam and Sandeep. In the movie, Shroff has contributed his voice for the song Rimco. The lyrics of of the song have been compiled by Rashmi Singh. Gang of Ghosts releases on March 21.

Sunil Bohra turns director

After producing films like Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Sunil Bohra, is becoming director. The yet-to-be titled film stars TV actor Pavan Shankar playing the role of guy from Benaras, who has been staying in Mumbai for 16 years and wishes to meet Dawood Ibrahim. The film will be made in a budget of Rs 1.5 crore.
