Ekta Kapoor’s film ‘Ragini MMS’ continues to make news. The latest one is that the ultimate seduction tune of yesteryears,’Raat Akeli Hai’,will feature in this Ekta Kapoor’s keenly awaited sensuous paranormal fest.
The Dev Anand-Tanuja number from the blockbuster Jewel Thief,sexily rendered by Asha Bhosle and scored by S.D. Burman,has been used in the film. And the good news for film buffs and music lovers is that the producers of Ragini MMS have decided to not remix the original.
Sources said,”Some recent remixes of old tunes haven’t worked,hence a call was taken to not remix a track like this.” Adding to this says Kapoor,”Some classic tunes should just not be touched. They should be enjoyed in their purest authentic form. ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is sexy enough in its original form and goes very well with the mood of Ragini MMS.”
While the original track was pictured in an ornate room on Tanuja in a white grown seducing Dev Anand,it remains to be seen how Ragini does it in a “threesome” way!
