NGE plans Housefull 2,Kick,Heer Ranjha for 2011

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment has signed Salman,Shahid,Saif,Akshay and Hrithik for its 2011 releases.

For NGE,Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, surviving and scoring has been the mantra,in an era where corporates, with their multi-million dollar fund raising and over-committing capacity, almost wiped out most of the individual production houses.

It’s been sheer of their versatility and vision, that has made them a force to reckon with, despite the corporate onslaught.

With two successful muti-starrer movies,Housefull and Anjaana Anjaani out in 2010,expectations for the next year are sky-high.

The New Year will trigger off with two new shots in the arm of his organization – the Saif Ali Khan starrer directed by Siddharth Anand based on Chetan Bhagat’s book ‘2 States’,which starts shooting in January 2011 and the Shahid Kapoor starrer Heer And Ranjha directed by Sabbir Khan. This will the first time the two stars will work with the production house, which in turn will film the two projects simultaneously, for a 2011 release.

In the second half of 2011,NGE will start work on the sequel to its blockbuster Housefull, this time with one of its favourite superstars,Akshay Kumar.

Around the same time,Salman Khan, who has earlier provided hits with the production house like Judwaa,Jeet,Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, will begin work for his next NGE film,Kick,to be directed by Shirish Kunder.

Imtiaz Ali’s film for Sajid Nadiadwala, which will reportedly feature Hrithik Roshan will start towards the end of 2011,hereby completing the year’s hectic shooting slate, perhaps the best in the business
