Glamour model Katie Price,who is famed for her surgically-enhanced breasts,is addicted to plastic surgery,according to a new poll.
The 31-year-old model is very open about going under the surgeon’s knife but women taking part in a survey by The Good Surgeon Guide worry it’s taking over her life,Female First online reported.
Katie,who is also known as Jordan,beat reality TV star Heidi Montag into second place as women believe she also has an unhealthy obsession with surgery,after having 10 procedures in one day last year.
31 per cent said mother-of-three Katie looks “awful” while 62 per cent believe Heidi is a “terrible role model”.
Australian pop star Dannii Minogue came in third place as many women believe she has had “too much” Botox. Others in the top ten include Pamela Anderson,Sharon Osbourne,Jackie Stallone and Jocelyn Wildenstein.
Christiana Clogg,founder of The Good Surgeon Guide,said of the results,”It isn’t a surprise to me to discover that cosmetic surgery is addictive,even to celebrities.”
“Previous research we have commissioned has shown that low self-esteem is a factor in the decision making process when considering surgery and I am sure it is the same for celebrities. I do agree with many of the celebs making an appearance in the top 10,they prove that going under the knife isn’t always a great idea,” Clogg added.
