Pyaar Mein Twist,which was touted as the first comedy on Star Plus in a decade,is going off air on June 5.
Its been only two months since the serial starring Manish Paul and Roshni Chopra launched but the ratings have been poor. It was Star Pluss attempt to build the weekend slot and was launched along with a reality show Wife Bina Life,but Pyar Mein… could not garner good ratings.
Says producer Asit Modi,It was launched during the World Cup when cricket was at its peak. The channel wanted to compete with the sport,but unfortunately cricket won and Pyar.. suffered.
In any case,according to him,Star Plus is overhauling the weekend band for Hirithik Roshans show Just Dance.
