Richest celebs in India: The Hurun India Rich List 2025 is finally out, and fans of Shah Rukh Khan are going to be delighted with the results. While the total list was topped by the likes of Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, who are industrial powerhouses, the celebrity list was led by none other than King Khan. According to the list, Shah Rukh is worth a whopping Rs 12,490 crore (approx $1.4 billion), which takes him into the billionaires’ bracket for the first time.

This puts him in the same bracket as Hollywood stars such as Rihanna and Tiger Woods (both are worth $1.4 billion) but behind Taylor Swift ($1.6 billion) and Kim Kardashian ($1.7 billion). These figures are from this year’s Forbes list.

The wins for Shah Rukh and family keep on coming this year, with his son Aryan Khan celebrating the success of his directorial Ba***ds of Bollywood. The biggest contributor to Shah Rukh’s worth is Red Chillies Entertainment, which he founded with his wife, Gauri Khan, in 2002. The production house was the one behind his son’s Netflix show.

Red Chillies has been in the game for 23 years and has helmed all of Shah Rukh’s projects since then, making the actor a participant of the profits. The company was also part of a landmark deal with Netflix back in 2016, giving the streaming corporation rights to all old and upcoming movies made by the production house.

Shah Rukh owns some incredibly expensive assets, such as his Rs 200 crore worth bungalow in Mumbai, Mannat. The iconic building is currently under renovation, and the actor is living in a four-floor apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra. The rent for the property is Rs 24 lakh per month, and Gauri has even rented a separate house nearby for Rs 1.35 lakh per month in order to house the entire staff of the family.
