Bhaijaan of Bollywood Salman Khan: Trust Salman Khan to walk away with a film where he only has a cameo — it can be an extended guest appearance or a short one but Bhai’s entry is enough for the theatre to erupt in cheers and rein in the wandering attention of audience. In his career spanning over three decades, Salman has not only won hearts as the lead hero in the films but with his cameos as well.

On Salman Khan’s 59th birthday, we are here with five films where just a few scenes of Salman made him the talk of the town.

Baby John: Agent Bhaijaan

Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John’s  highlight remains Salman Khan who stole the show in the role of Agent Bhaijaan. The Christmas 2024 release stars Varun along with Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh. Baby John’s climax is getting a lot of love online as Salman made a special entry.

Film’s producer Murad Khetani had earlier spoken about how Salman came on board, “I didn’t have to convince him (Salman Khan). I was just having a conversation with him over a call. During our chat, I simply asked, ‘Bhai, we wanted to do a scene with you in Baby John’. He was like, ‘Done, let me know when I have to come for it.’ The conversation didn’t go beyond ten seconds.’”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: Aman Mehra

Salman Khan had an extended cameo as Aman Mehra in the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Salman’s sensitive portrayal got a lot of love and awards. Interestingly, Salman agreed to do the role after many actors refused the role and director Karan Johar was at his wit’s ends about casting for the role. “Iss film ko karne ki liye paagal hona chahiye aur main wo pagal hoon (You have to be crazy to do this film and I am that person),” Salman had famously said while accepting the role.

Baghban: Alok Malhotra

Salman Khan as the ideal son in Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini-starrer Baghban hit many headlines at the time of the film’s release. Salman was the kind of son any Indian parent would wish to have.

Sawaariya: Imaan Pirzada

Salman Khan is Sawaariya.

Salman Khan romanced Sonam Kapoor in her debut film Saawariya. The Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer saw Salman as the love interest of Sonam. Salman Khan appears for a few seconds in the film.

Pathaan: Tiger

The highlight of 2023 was Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback after a long hiatus, Pathaan, which also had him collaborating with Salman. Salman Khan appeared in a 20-minute cameo where he reprised his role as Tiger, saving SRK from enemy agents. Salman and SRK’s scenes together got a lot of love from fans.

Well, this is not all!

Salman Khan did many more cameos and appeared as a guest in film songs. Mehmood’s directorial Dushman Duniya Ka saw Salman for a five-minute role halfway through the film and also had Shah Rukh Khan in guest appearance. Salman was seen in his Chulbul Pandey avatar in Singham Again as well.

Salman Khan was also seen saving Ajay Devgn’s character in the film Son Of Sardaar from goons in a hilarious manner. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-starrer Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke too had Salman’s special appearance as a truck driver.

Not only acting cameo but Salman made guest appearances in some songs too. Salman Khan appeared Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero’s song “Issaqbazi”. He was seen in Tees Maar Khan’s song “Wallah Re Wallah”. The film had Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
