Ram Kapoor confirms the adage that age is just a number. The actor has been making headlines lately for his stunning weight loss transformation. As the actor turned 52 today, he shared that he feels ‘healthier and younger’ than what he felt in more than 25 years. Ram Kapoor lost 50 kilos in a span in almost 2 years, and this birthday is special for him. He took to his Instagram to post a towel selfie where he is seen flaunting his fit bod.

The caption reads, “52 years old today! I’m feeling healthier and younger then I have felt in more then 25 YEARS! Age is just a number…”

Reacting to the post, his actor wife Gautami Kapoor wrote, “😀super year ahead ! Happy bday.” Ram Kapoor’s post has many reaction from fans too. A fan wrote, “The Best Birthday Gift one can give himself !!! Bravo Bro 🤗🤗🤗🤗🫡🫡🫡🫡, ” while another added, “Happy birthday @iamramkapoor … absolutely stunning , impressive and inspiring .. keep going 🔥🔥🙌.” Many fans wished the actor a great year ahead too.

Ram Kapoor has been every vocal about his weight loss transformation. The actor has been documenting his journey on his social media handle. Explaining what made him change his lifestyle, he told Bharti Singh on her podcast: “When I was shooting Neeyat in Scotland, I was at my worst. I was taking insulin shots thrice a day, before every meal. I was 140 kgs, and my sugar was at ridiculous heights. My doctor told me that I’m working so much and I’m so unhealthy, I could have a diabetic stroke. That’s how unhealthy I was. I had to do a transformation, otherwise I would not have long to live.”

Ram Kapoor has also been under scrutiny, with a section of social media alleging that he used weight loss drugs such as Ozempic and Mounjaro. However, he has denied these claims multiple times, he also addressed the matter and questioned the negativity around the usage of such drugs. He also revealed he was ready to take Mounjaro as advised by his doctor but fate came in the way.

On the work front, Ram Kapoor was recently seen in Jio Hotstar’s show Mistry. Directed by Rishab Seth, the series also features Mona Singh, Shikha Talsania, Kshitish Date, and Namantar Rajendra.
