Pushpa 2 box office collection day 1 early report: Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2 The Rule has been one of the most-anticipated films of the year. The Telugu drama is expected to earn between Rs 250-Rs300 crore gross globally as per early estimates.

Pushpa 2 box Office Collection Day 1 Early Report: Pushpa: The Rule has finally hit the theatres with the premiere shows of Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna film taking place on Wednesday night in select cities, followed by morning shows starting as early as 4:30 am on Thursday. The special shows have been allowed by the Telangana government. These tickets were sold at a whopping price with a maximum hike of up to Rs 800 for the first show. With hike in price, and special shows for the Allu Arjun-starrer film, the action drama has earned Rs 28.94 crore across all languages as of 10 am on Thursday, according to Sacnilk.

The film had shown excellent numbers in terms of advance bookings in India. The Sukumar directorial film sold nearly 32 lakh tickets for about 32,000 shows in advance bookings in all languages, according to Sacnilk. BookMyShow also said that the film has sold over 3 million tickets till Thursday.

According to BookMyShow, most of the shows are houseful in Hyderabad. Whereas, shows in Delhi-NCR are filling fast, especially for screenings in the evening and night as Thursday is a working day. Many users also reported that BookMyShow was crashing while booking tickets. The platform, however, has not commented on this.

Tickets are, however, available for shows during the day. The film is reportedly releasing in over 12,000 screens across the world.

Pushpa: The Rule is the sequel of the 2021 film, Pushpa: The Rise. The film was critically acclaimed, and bagged Allu Arjun his first National Award. The film also stars actors Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. According to trade experts, the film will open to over Rs 250 crore gross globally on its release day (inclusive of special shows screened on Wednesday).

The film, since its release, has received positive response, with many giving a special mention to the second half of the film. The three hours, twenty minutes long Telugu drama is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 400 crore. It is released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
