Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan’s Loveyapa is all set to release in theatres on February 7. The makers of the film dropped its first trailer today.
The trailer starts with a loved up conversation between Junaid and Khushi. The next frame shows Junaid asking Khushi’s hand for marriage from her father played by Ashutosh Rana. The father then suggests the couple to exchange their phones for a day before they take the big decision. This flips their lives upside down.
The next couple of scenes is filled with several revelations about the couple, right from them being on dating apps to going on dates with others.
Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan, also stars Grusha Kapoor, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Mandan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, Yusus Khan, Yuktam Kholsa, and Kunj Anand.
Unlike Loveyapa’s title song which released last week, netizens showered their love on the actors. A user commented, “I don’t know what others will say but I really like their chemistry and I am looking forward to see them together.” Another user wrote, “Junaid looks so cute, he deserves all the success in his life from Maharaj to Loveyapa he is already experimenting with his career because he knows people will know him by his work.”
Loveyapa marks the second film of both Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, who had marked their acting debuts with Netflix films The Archies and Maharaj, respectively. Khushi is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, meanwhile Junaid is Aamir Khan’s son from his first wife Reena Dutta.
