Farah Khan skips directing the new commercial but makes Shah Rukh Khan and mom-to-be Kiara Advani do some odd jobs on set.

Mom-to-be Kiara Advani joined Shah Rukh Khan as the duo were directed by director-choreographer Farah Khan for a new commercial. Farah, who is also running a very succesful food vlog with her Insta famous cook Dilip, also coopted him for the commercial. Farah and Dilip had a field day as they made SRK and Kiara do strange chores after the director announces that the brand sells itself and needs no marketing.

Directed by Farah Khan herself, the ad opens with the trio on set, ready to shoot a big-budget commercial for Myntra. But Farah made the stars do everything but the work for which they were there. “Arre aisa offer, iski ad banana ki kya zarurat hai (Why make an ad for an offer like this)?” says the director while she makes Shah Rukh and Kiara do their bidding as they had anyway signed the contract. Farah is joined by her favourite celebrity househelp, Dilip, who is acting as her assistant on the set.

Shah Rukh Khan is seen tearing up as Farah makes him chop onions while Kiara shells peas. At this, Dilip jokes, “Sir, Kal Ho Naa Ho ka climax yaad aa gaya.” Not happy with how the onions have been chopped, he returns to SRK and asks him to do a better job, as directed by Farah. Kiara is meanwhile made to play dumb charades with Farah’s team on the set. Farah, meanwhile, adds that she is very clear that actors have to do what the director says. She also makes the two stars do a saree ad for ‘Dilip ke dost ke papa ki dukaan (saree showroom owned by father of Dilip’s friend)’.

From cutting onions, playing dumb charades to posing in his trademark step with crew members, SRK and Kiara can be seen doing everything. But at the end of the clip, Farah is also asked to choreograph sangeet of an employee’s relative because she too is on the ‘contract’. This funny twist made SRK and Kiara sit back with popcorn, enjoying Farah’s impromptu dance choreography.
