Bhojpuri singer Sharda Sinha has been put on a ventilator at the Delhi hospital, her son revealed that her condition 'suddenly worsened'.

Sharda Sinha Health Update: Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan recipient Singer Sharda Sinha, who is fondly called ‘Bihar Kokila’, has been hospitalized and is on ventilator support. The singer was in shock since her husband Brij Kishore Sinha’s demise and was admitted to Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. Her son Anshuman recently gave a health update on his YouTube channel about the singer, confirming that she has been put on a ventilator. He also urged everyone to pray for his mother to recover.

Sharda Sinha’s son gives health update

Going live on his official YouTube channel, Anshuman said, “So I am coming live at this time and giving you the correct information so that no one puts up wrong information. We are all praying that mother somehow survives. Her life should be saved. She is also in a lot of pain. So I request all of you who are listening and those who perform Chhath Puja to include her in your prayers. She has given a very long time for her country and state. Therefore, it is important that she should get some more time. Just thank you for now, I will be present as and when things happen.”

He also added, “This time this is the true news. Mother is on a ventilator. I have just signed the consent. Keep praying. Mother has gone through a very big battle. This time it is very difficult. Just pray that she can come out of this. This is the real update. I have just met her. May Chhathi Maa bless. Right now when I met the doctors, they said that the case has suddenly worsened. Right now everyone is trying.”

PM Modi reaches out to Sharda Sinha’s family

Anshuman told ANI that Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured him of all necessary support for his mother’s treatment.

Sharda Sinha, 72, has been fighting multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, since 2018.

Sharda Sinha is popularly known for singing traditional wedding and Chhath songs in Bhojpuri. She had also sung a song called Nirmohiya for the OTT series Maharani Season 2.
