Badass Ravikumar vs Loveyapa box office collection day 6: February has begun on a slow note for Hindi films at the box office. The first two releases of the month – Badass Ravikumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya and Prabhudeva in important roles, and Loveyapa featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor – have been drawing disappointing numbers. After playing in theatres for almost a week, neither film has managed to hit the Rs 10 crore mark at the box office. Badass Ravikumar’s overall performance, however, has been superior to Loveyapa’s. The film’s overall collection stands at Rs 7.85 crore, while Loveyapa has earned Rs 6.25 crore in six days.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, on Wednesday, Himesh’s film collected Rs 55 lakh, while Junaid and Khushi’s film raked in Rs 60 lakh. Worldwide, Badass Ravikumar has earned Rs 8.65 crore, while Loveyapa has collected Rs 6.65 crores. However, both films have seen a massive drop in box office collections right after the opening weekend.
On Wednesday, Loveyapa had an overall occupancy of 9.33 percent, while Badass Ravikumar’s overall Hindi occupancy was 7.77 percent. For Loveyapa, Mumbai had the highest occupancy of 13.75 percent with 244 shows, followed by Chandigarh, which had an occupancy of 13.25 percent with 37 shows. The occupancy for Loveyapa in Delhi NCR was 9 percent with 420 shows. For Badass Ravikumar, the occupancy has been the highest in Chennai with 17.67 percent with 9 shows, followed by Surat where the occupancy was 12.25 percent from 74 shows. Both Loveyapa and Badass Ravikumar are in a tight race, however, with Chhaava releasing this week, it’s likely that they fade away by Friday. Badass Ravikumar has been directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya. Loveyapa has been directed by Advait Chandan and produced by AGS Entertainment and Phantom Films.
