After Rihanna’s jaw-dropping performance on the first day of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations, Akon added to the festive atmosphere on the third day. The international singer set the stage alight with his rendition of the chartbuster “Chammak Challo” from the movie Ra.One. Several videos are doing rounds on the internet and in one such video, Anant is seen trying to lift Salman Khan.
The viral video captures Akon setting the vibe right, with Ambanis, including groom-to-be Anant, and Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman, gracing the stage. An enthusiastic Anant attempts to lift Salman, only to falter, resulting in laughter from the Dabangg star. Determined to lift Salman, Anant calls upon Salman’s bodyguard, Shera, for assistance. With Shera’s help, Salman is lifted up, prompting cheers from Akon and Salman himself, as well as the audience.
Akon took to his Instagram handle and shared a post. He wrote in the caption, “Best pre wedding party of the year. Got to bring my whole Indian family on stage to perform my biggest record in India. @iamsrk, @beingsalmankhan, @sukhbir_singer, and the bride and groom Anant and Radihka. Unforgettable evening.”
On the second day of the celebrations, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan took to the stage for an interesting dance performance. For the unversed, Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding celebrations began on Friday and wrapped up on Sunday. The event, which took place in Jamnagar, saw the attendance of many famous personalities and celebrities from different parts of the world.
