Amitabh Bachchan recently hosted the team of The Archies on his show Kaun Banega Crorepati and one of his guests was actor Suhana Khan, who made her debut with the Zoya Akhtar film. Suhana is the daughter of actor Shah Rukh Khan and her father and Bachchan, have worked together in films like Mohabbatein and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. As Suhana took the hot seat, Bachchan recalled a few anecdotes from her childhood.
When Big B asked her who was the stricter parent between SRK and Gauri Khan, Suhana named Gauri and her response shocked Big B. He then proceeded to recall an incident when SRK scolded Suhana when she was very little but she did not remember this particular episode. The veteran actor said Suhana was being very stubborn about getting inside the swimming pool but Shah Rukh was just not giving her permission for the same.
“You said you want to swim but Shah Rukh said, ‘No, you will not swim,'” shared the veteran actor. When Suhana said that she did not remember this incident, Bachchan said, “He scolded you also as you kept repeating ‘I want to swim.'” He also added that Suhana didn’t really want to swim but was just being stubborn. He concluded by suggesting that Shah Rukh should elaborate on the incident. Suhana added that it must be the only time her dad said no to her.
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan visited the Shirdi Sai Baba temple with Suhana Khan in Shirdi, Maharashtra. Before that, the actor also visited the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu.
Shah Rukh is now getting ready for his third release of the year, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. After the monstrous success of Pathaan and Jawan, it is yet to be seen if SRK can deliver a hat-trick. 2023 has been the most successful year for the actor so far. His two films have collectively grossed over Rs 2000 crore globally.
