RRR star Ram Charan’s wife and entrepreneur Upasana Konidela is pregnant with her and the actor’s first child. However, that has not stopped her from travelling the world, exploring exciting opportunities and meeting new people.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Upasana said that she has been trying to ‘redefine pregnancy’ for herself, adding, “I think pregnancy has to be a celebration and I have been enjoying this journey as you can see am jet-setting around the world and I’m trying to redefine it for myself, and my doctor has given me a plan where I have to think about what I eat, eat nutritious food and not for two but just for me.”
Upasana said that she is quite happy about the fact that she can fit into her old clothes and doesn’t have to wear too many maternity wear at this point: “So I can still fit into my clothes and I’m not wearing that many maternity clothes and fitting into my regular clothes…I feel great about that. It’s been a great journey…My go-to style throughout my life has been comfort first and then after that, I feel let your personality speak more than anything else.”
She added in a comment to News 18, “From what I’m seeing, Rihanna is rocking it and well, I’m on a diet, so I hope I’m rocking it too. I think it’s about being smart and confident in whatever phase of life you are in.”
Earlier, Ram Charan’s superstar father Chiranjeevi had shared a small note, informing their fans of the happy development, which read, “With the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji, we are delighted to share that Upasana & Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With Love & Gratitude, Surekha & Chiranjeevi Konidela. Shobana & Anil Kamineni (sic).”
Upasana Konidela and Ram Charan have been married for over a decade now. The two had tied the knot in Hyderabad in 2012.
