This Diwali brought double dhamaka for the Konidela family, as Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni announced that they are expecting their second child. The family not only celebrated the festival of lights but also hosted a beautiful baby shower for Upasana. The couple shared the joyous news through an adorable video that quickly took over the internet.
In the video, their home is seen decked up with flowers. We get glimpses of Ram Charan sharing warm hugs with family members. The glowing mom-to-be Upasana is seen in a stunning blue salwar suit paired with a diamond jewelry set. The intimate gathering also featured Pawan Kalyan with his wife Anna Lezhneva, Upasana’s father and Chiranjeevi. A special highlight was the presentation of a Lord Ram idol resembling the one from Ayodhya Mandir.
The celebration was attended by several close family and friends, including Lavanya Tripathi, wife of Varun Tej, and actor Nagarjuna with his family.
Sharing the video, Upasana Kamineni wrote, “This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love, and double the blessings.”

The post soon drew warm reactions from friends and colleagues across the industry. Lakshmi Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, and producer Guneet Monga were among the first to drop congratulatory messages.
Kajal wrote, “Big congratulations and lots of love to mama, papa, and biggest congratulations to big sis Kaara.” Lakshmi added, “Omg, I’m sooo happy for you both! Wishing you the most beautiful and blissful pregnancy! Can’t wait to meet the little one!”
Actors Janhvi Kapoor, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Trisha Krishnan, and Kiara Advani also liked the video.
This marks Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni’s second pregnancy after they welcomed their first child, daughter Klin Kaara Konidela, in 2023.
