Pawan Kalyan fans are eagerly awaiting the release of OG, the gangster drama directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame. The team released a new poster for the star Pawan Kalyan on his birthday on 2nd September. The production house DVV Entertainment has now put out a short character introduction video for the main antagonist of the film, played by Emraan Hashmi.

The character introduction ‘Love OM Glimpse’ had a short caption: “Another madness joins the fire. and the #OG hysteria hits new highs. Okate repeats-uu.” The makers are clearly hiding something big behind the short tease, and in the video, we can see a totally unrecognizable Emraan Hashmi in long hair, slashing through henchmen. The teaser ends with Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Omi Babu’, a crime boss, wishing happy birthday to OG (Ojas Gambheera), a gangster who is back in Mumbai after a 10-year hiatus. The short glimpse ends with a cutaway shot to Pawan Kalyan, wielding a samurai sword, looking directly at the camera. All the fonts used and stylings in the video suggest a Chinese connection to the strand of the story.

Meanwhile, the vintage poster featured a stylish Pawan Kalyan sitting on the back of a retro Dodge, wearing shades and boot cut pants. The poster clearly is from a flashback scene from the film and has generated considerable buzz on social media.

OG, produced by DVV Entertainment, also features Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj in other pivotal roles. The film, revolving around a dreaded gangster, will see Pawan Kalyan in two different looks and be about the retribution of a gangster who makes it back after a 10-year absence to get back at another crime boss in Mumbai. Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa handle the cinematography, while Thaman is in charge of the film’s music and original score. OG will be a Pan Indian release on 25th September with regional language versions in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
