Project K: Deepika Padukone’s first look from Prabhas movie out

The much-awaited poster of Deepika Padukone from the Telugu film Project K is finally here. Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house of the big-budget film, announced that the poster will be out on Monday at 5 pm. However, for reasons unknown, there was a delay in the release, which left the fans disappointed. But the poster has now made up for the delay as it has met the expectations of the fans.

Deepika Padonkone’s look is reminiscent of Zendaya’s Chani from Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. Project K marks her first direct film in Telugu. Sharing the poster, the production also revealed that the first glimpse of the film will be out on July 21 in Indian (20th in the US).


Project K is touted to be a dystopian sci-fi film about the futuristic reimagination of the Hindu God Vishnu. Nag Ashwin, who made the National-award winning film Mahanati, is directing Project K, which also has Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil star Kamal Haasan in important roles. Disha Patani is also part of the film. The film is being made on a huge budget of several hundred crores and will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, Deepika will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Jawan. She is playing a cameo in the film, directed by Atlee. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Priyamani are other actors in the film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
