Allu Arjun to join politics? Here’s Pushpa 2 actor’s official clarification

Allu Arjun was seen in India’s capital, Delhi on Thursday to attend a success meet for the recently released film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The star thanked all for the immense love the film is getting, having broken many records at the box office. He also spoke to the press about how India is exponentially growing, drawing parallels between the Indian attitude and his film.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has already collected over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. Talking at the event, the star expressed his happiness on the film becoming the first Indian film to collect Rs 1000 crore gross worldwide in less than a week and went on to share, “Numbers are temporary, but love is etched in hearts forever. I always believe records are meant to be broken. It’s nice I am in this top spot now, but in the next 2-3 months, I hope these records are broken soon, no matter which film does it, be it Telugu, Tamil, Hindi or any other. That’s progression; that means India is going up. I wish for these numbers to be broken as soon as possible because that is growth and I love growth.”

Allu Arjun added, “As an Indian standing in the country’s capital, I believe India will lead the future of the world. India will be the leading country in the world.” He then added in Hindi, “Ye naya Bharat hai, ye ab rukega nahi, ye kabhi jhukega nahi (This is the new India, it won’t stop or bow down).”

Allu Arjun’s Delhi visit made many speculate about Tollywood icon’s plans regarding making a political entry. Speculation said that Allu Arjun also met with political leader Prashant Kishor in Delhi to discuss political plans. However, Allu Arjun’s team shared an official clarification stating that the actor has no plans to enter politics right now.
