Entrepreneur and television personality Ashneer Grover made a strong impact as a ‘shark’ on Shark Tank India season 1 and now he is a part of the popular show MTV Roadies, leaving gang leaders Gautam Gulati, Prince Narula and Rhea Chakraborty in a fix. The latest promo of the show gives a sneak peek into how Ashneer takes down the friendly advances of the gang leaders towards them.
It seems like Ashneer has joined Sonu Sood on the show to decide the final 10 contestants from the three teams.
As Ashneer takes his seat, Gautam tells him, “Aap bhi Delhi se ho, main bhi Delhi se hun. To saath mein milkar kuch partnership karte hai.” (You and I both are from Delhi. Lets make a partnership together)”. Ashneer gives Gautam a curt response and says, “Delhi, Delhi ka kya hai, sarkar thodi na banani hai yaha pe (Why are you talking about Delhi, do you want to form the government)?”
In the next scene, Prince tells Ashneer, “Aap Delhi ke nahi, pure India ke ho (You are not Delhi’s, but entire India’s).” Ashneer cut him in the middle and says, “Jo makhan wala part hai wo hata de (Remove the buttering part).”

The promo also shows Rhea and Prince quarreling with each other as Prince threatens to lose his cool with her and she asks him to not raise his voice.
Ashneer, founder of BharatPe, rose to fame when he appeared as one of the investors in the first season of Shark Tank India. He made a lot of buzz due to his controversial statements on the show.
The businessman, however, did not return for the second season of the show despite garnering publicity. During an appearance in the podcast Vaghera Vaghera, he revealed the reason.
He said, “Ab main zyada detail mein nahi jaunga, but simple si baat hai ki dekho, Kohli agar Bhopal ki team se khelega, usne 300 run maar diye, toh woh dominate kar raha hai na game? Ab usko India se khelna chahiye. Hala ke main yeh nahi bol raha ke baaki log koi kam hain, but main zyada tha, kya karein? Maine dominate kar diya show (I won’t go into detail, but it’s simple. If Kohli plays for a small team and hits 300 runs, he will dominate the game. It’s time for him to play for India next. Not to take anything away from the other sharks, but I dominated the show).”
