Ram Kapoor recently made headlines for his amazing transformation journey. The actor who played the OG Ram Kapoor in the Ekta Kapoor show, Bade Ache Lagte Hai, lost about 55kgs. The photos of his transformation went viral when he shared them on his Instagram handle. While many praised the actor for his hard work and dedication, a set of people also trolled him and accused him of opting for Ozempic and surgery.
On Wednesday, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a video and address these claims. In the video, the actor could be seen flexing his muscles and saying, “a lot more work is left”, promising to have a six-pack in the next six months. He said, “Apparently after all this news has gone viral, lot of people are coming to me non stop and basically thinking that I have done something or taken Ozempic or other drugs or surgery. First there is nothing wrong in it but now is less than 30 seconds, I want to prove that I have done nothing.”

The 51-year-old actor added, “I have no best body. The point is, this kind of transformation requires hard work and long, long hours… no shortcuts, no surgery, no Ozempic. That only does weight loss, not this. Right? Within four to six months, I am going to get a rock solid six-pack with blocks. That has to be done the hard way. Get it! But anyone who has done Ozempic or surgery, so what? Good for you all.”
Ram Kapoor had addressed these issues previously in a podcast with Cyrus Broacha. He said, “Twice I lost 30 kilos and twice it came back. This time, I have lost 55 kilos, and I have achieved a great level of health because I have learnt that any diet is temporary…The point is instead of dieting, you have to change your mindset.”
He also shared that he never took Ozempic or any other drug for weight loss.
