Pushpa 2 worldwide box office collection day 30: A month after its release, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule remains unstoppable at the box office, with its producers, Mythri Movie Makers, proudly announcing that it has achieved the distinction of being the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 1800 crore milestone. This impressive feat places Pushpa 2: The Rule in an elite league, with only Aamir Khan’s blockbuster Dangal (2016) having previously reached this benchmark.
As per industry tracking website Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 experienced its lowest single-day earnings on its 30th day of release, Friday, January 3, with a nett collection of Rs 3.85 crore. The movie’s earnings witnessed a 21% drop from Rs 5 crore on Thursday to Rs 3.85 crore on Friday. Nevertheless, the film continued to assert its dominance at the box office, outperforming other notable releases such as Varun Dhawan’s Baby John and the animated film Mufasa: The Lion King, among others. This latest addition has taken Pushpa 2: The Rule’s net total to Rs 1193.6 crore.
The movie’s success can be attributed to its massive appeal, with audiences worldwide flocking to theaters to watch the film. The sequel to Pushpa: The Rise has not only broken records but has also become a cultural phenomenon.
The film’s impressive ticket sales have also been highlighted by online ticketing platform BookMyShow. Taking to social media, BookMyShow announced that they have sold over 20 million tickets for Pushpa 2: The Rule on their platform alone. This staggering figure is a testament to the film’s widespread popularity and its ability to draw in massive audiences.
With Rs 2070 crore, Aamir Khan’s Dangal remains the highest-grossing Indian film. However, Pushpa 2: The Rule is now eyeing this target, and its impressive run suggests that it may soon surpass Dangal’s record. The movie’s success has been acknowledged by Mythri Movie Makers, who took to social media to celebrate its achievements. “Pushpa2TheRule is RULING THE INDIAN BOX OFFICE with its record-breaking run. The WILDFIRE BLOCKBUSTER GROSSES 1799 CRORES WORLDWIDE in 4 weeks,” read their post.
As Pushpa 2: The Rule enters its fifth week, it will be interesting to see if it can maintain its momentum and break more records. With its impressive box office collection and widespread appeal, the film has already cemented its place in Indian cinema history.
