The news of Hina Khan’s battle with Stage 3 breast cancer sent shockwaves among her fans and well-wishers, however the television star isn’t letting her diagnosis hold her back. In a powerful message shared on her Instagram Stories, she offered words of encouragement to others fighting the same battle. Her message, titled “A window to my journey,” acknowledged the challenges cancer patients face. She expressed her hope that her own journey would inspire others to fight their own battles and “turn a page in their own stories for good.”
“This is to all those courageous women and men who are fighting this tough battle.. I wish my journey can be courageous and motivating enough for people out there to turn a page in their own stories for good. And remember we may be SCARRED but we MUST not be SCARED. #Scarrednotscared (sic),” she wrote on her Instagram Story, highlighting the resilience needed to face cancer while acknowledging the physical and emotional toll it can take.
The Naagin actor’s earlier post, dated June 28, revealed her Stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis. She assured fans she was “doing well” and committed to overcoming the disease. She described herself as “strong, determined,” and ready to “do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.” The actor requested privacy but also expressed her appreciation for “love, strength, and blessings.” She emphasised the importance of “personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions” from others battling cancer. This openness highlights her desire to connect with a community of support during this difficult time.

Meanwhile many of her friends and peers, including Niti Taylor, Ankita Lokhande, Bharti Singh, Gauahar Khan, Surbhi Jyoti, Nakul Mehta, Mouni Roy, Ekta Kapoor, and Sunil Grover extended their support online. Cancer survivor and actor Mahima Chaudhry, wrote, “Sending you all my love & strength, you are my brave one, Hina. You are a fighter, and I know you will be just fine! You have millions of people wishing the best for you, and I will be there holding your hand right through this”, accompanied by several red heart emojis. The Pardes actor, now cancer free, too was diagnosed with breast cancer.
