Celebrity MasterChef finale winner: Netizens root for Gaurav Khanna and Tejasswi Prakash

At the start of the finale week, Gaurav Khanna presented a honey-dripping dessert that sparked controversy outside the show, as netizens claimed it was heavily inspired by a creation from Swiss chef Josia Reichen. Seeing him ‘recreate’ it to perfection, chef Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna got emotional. Ranveer ended up gifting Gaurav his special edition knife. This knife was also given to Tejasswi Prakash earlier on the show.

Renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor has also been a part of the finale week. Sanjeev not only shared words of wisdom with the finalists and motivated them to put their best foot forward, but also had a great time shooting for the finale episode, interacting with the likes of Tejasswi Prakash and Gaurav Khanna.

Sanjeev even gave Tejasswi his card after she expressed her wish to start her restaurant. Talking about her long-held dream of opening her restaurant, Tejasswi had said, “The Michelin star dream, which I have seen, the credit goes to Karan. Whenever I would go for meetings to work on things, Karan would always encourage me saying, ‘Baby I will open it for you and one day I promise, you will do so good that you will get a Michelin star.’ This confidence and dream is because Karan encouraged me.”

This made Sanjeev Kapoor ask if she had ever considered opening a restaurant on her own. Tejasswi replied, “I never thought of doing it alone. I wanted to do it in partnership or franchisee and learn on the go.”

Sanjeev then offered Tejasswi his contact card, telling her to reach out whenever she needed guidance. The visibly emotional actor shared, “I am going to hold on to this and call you to clear my doubts. This is huge.”

The pre-finale episode was also special as families came to cheer on the finalists. Karan Kundrra showed up to support Tejasswi Prakash, bringing along a special jacket as a good luck charm. He also brought a sentimental keepsake from their time together on Bigg Boss.

During the episode, contestants were asked to prepare a two-course meal. However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger. The finale night promises to be packed with suspense and excitement.

Celebrity MasterChef’s winner will be determined on the basis of judges’ and Sanjeev Kapoor’s scores.
