Prior to Gadar 2, Sunny had attempted comebacks in various films, but none of his roles left a significant impact.

Similarly, Bobby Deol’s portrayal of a negative character in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal was well-received by audiences, generating various viral moments from the film. While Bobby had portrayed impactful characters in recent years in projects like Class of 83 and Aashram, they couldn’t match the success of Animal.
