In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, music composer Amaal Mallik was joined by his younger brother, singer Armaan Malik. Overwhelmed by the reunion during Family Week, Amaal broke down in tears. He later asked Armaan whether their parents were upset and why their father hadn’t come to meet him. Armaan also exposed Tanya Mittal, revealing that she had tried to manipulate Amaal in the game. Amaal, in turn, clarified to his brother why he had spoken so much about their family on the show.
Seeing Armaan enter the house, Amaal broke down and said, “I thought Dad would come. How did they bring you? You never wanted me to come on the show. How upset are they with me? How much of the family name have I spoiled outside? I couldn’t see you even before coming on the show. How is Dad? Are they vibing with the improvement?” Armaan replied, “Genuinely, I am so happy.”
Later, Armaan met other housemates and said, “I have only been seeing you all on TV, you’ll have become household names. I was very scared for Amaal. We have heard so much about this show, I thought Amaal couldn’t go. He informed me a day before entering the house, so we couldn’t meet. I am seeing him after 4 months. When I heard Amaal was participating in Bigg Boss, I was in disbelief.”
“I told him we focus on music, this is not for us, but he said no, I will kill on the show. I was scared for him, but when I started seeing the way he performed on the show, I felt he had done so well. Outside, now people recognize me as Amaal’s brother. A few people even mistook me for Amaal and said you killed it on Bigg Boss,” he added.
When Amaal Mallik and Armaan Malik sat down to chat in private, Armaan revealed that their father was obsessed with the show. “He is living and breathing it,” the singer added. Armaan also told Amaal how Tanya tried to instigate him against the family through her fictional stories.
A few weeks ago, when Tanya and Amaal were still good friends, Tanya told him a story about two brothers, Raju and Kaju. In the story, one brother was successful while the other was struggling, which led to misunderstandings within the family. Determined to prove himself, Kaju chose to behave a certain way, and eventually, his father came to understand him. Talking about this story, Armaan said, “With that Raju-Kaju story, Tanya wanted to feed something else only in your mind about you and me. She wanted to put you on some Anti-Armaan track, which I didn’t appreciate.”
The contestants also had a bonfire where Armaan sang a few songs for everyone before he left.
