Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 has been keeping fans entertained with Amitabh Bachchan in the host’s chair. On Wednesday, two contestants lost their winning amounts and took home Rs 3.2 lakhs and Rs 10,000, respectively. The third contestant to take on the hot seat was named Dr Abhishek Garg, which led to some fun conversations between him and Big B.
As soon as he sat opposite Amitabh Bachchan, he requested him to be lenient toward him as he’s also named Abhishek, like his son. His comment led Big B to let out a loud laugh and then suggested that he would rather address him as Dr Sahab. When asked about the reason, he shared that calling him Abhishek would make him think about his son, and he would be wondering about his whereabouts.
“Abhishek bhi bol sakte hain aapko par phir baar baar humko ghar jaana padega, humein lagta hai phir woh kaha gaye, kya kar rahe honge, kya horaraha hai unke jeevan mein, wahan dhyaan chala jaata hai (I can call you Abhishek but my mind would wander to my home and family. I would be wondering where he is, what’s going on in his life),” he shared.
The contestant then opened up about how even with an MBBS degree, he’s preparing for civil services as there are too many doctors in his life. He said that this is the reason he doesn’t get any respect in his family. Host Amitabh Bachchan then took on the job of convincing Abhishek Garg to get married, and even quizzed him if he has someone in his life. “Itne saare log baithe hain, Na main haan kahunga aur na naa (So many people are sitting here, I won’t agree or deny).”
As the contestant’s mother asks Big B to help them convince him, he shot back, “Aapke parivaar ne kaam humein de diya (Your family has given me a new job).” The contestant won Rs 1.6 lakh and would continue the game in tonight’s episode.
Previous to Abhishek Garg, a contestant named Aparna was on the hot seat, who works with Google. During her interaction with Amitabh Bachchan, she confessed to being a Shah Rukh Khan fan. She mentioned how everyone falls flat looking at SRK’s dimples. She then quizzed Big B if he too ever got affected by his smiles while they were working together. “Jitni filmon mein humne unke sath kaam kiya hai, lete lete kiya hai. Woh haste rehte hai.. aur hum gir jaate hai (Whenever we have worked together, I have done it while lying down. He keeps smiling and we fall flat),” the host joked. As he lauded SRK’s talent as an actor, he also left the contestant happy by sharing that he would pass on her regards to Shah Rukh.
