Amitabh Bachchan likes to engage in some fun banter with the contestants of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 and in a recent promo of the show, the star shared his experience of getting an MRI. Amitabh said that he was curious about what was inside his brain, and he asked a nurse to tell him the truth, and so she did.
In the promo shared by Sony LIV’s Instagram handle, Amitabh said that once when he was getting an MRI done, he asked the technicians and nurses, “Ek baar humara zara khopdi ka bhi dekh lo. Humko lagta hai uske andar kuch hai nahi (Can you please check my brain once? I feel there’s nothing in it).” Amitabh then laughed a little and said that a female nurse felt that he should know the truth and so she was completely candid with him.
He recalled her saying, “Sir jo aap puch rahe the voh bilkul sahi hai, aapka khopdi ekdum khali hai (Sir what you were asking was absolutely correct, there is nothing in there.)” As Amitabh said this, him and the audience started laughing.
The 80-year-old likes to joke around with the contestants on the show which is seen as a way to relax the contestant so they can concentrate on the game and not be in awe of the star. But Amitabh often shares his life experiences with the contestants too. During a recent episode, he spoke about the time he was hospitalised during Covid-19. “I was in the hospital for about 25 days and I was almost admitted to the ICU. However, I started to get better,” he said.
Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in a cameo appearance in son Abhishek Bachchan’s film Ghoomer. This year, he will be seen in Ganapath, also starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He is also playing a pivotal role in Nag Ashwin’s big budget film Kalki 2898 AD, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.
